Terry
Seabrook Trio:
The Trio has recorded a new album and although not yet
available much of the material will be performed at the
concert as a special preview. Some originals by Terry but
also arrangements of classics such as
On Green Dolphin Street, It Could Happen To You, Blue
Moon, Taking a Chance on Love, I wish I knew what it meant
to be free and Yesterday (Lennon McCartney). And maybe some
festive melodies.
Featuring
newcomer Darren Beckett on drums. Terry on piano with Nigel
Thomas on bass. Terry and Nigel have been playing together
for 40 years (remember Hipnosis?).
Recently they have been playing with Darren who arrived
from New York a year ago and who has been getting stuck
into the thriving Brighton scene as well as continuing his
international work with singer Madeleine Peyroux, whom he’s
worked with for over ten years. His CV also includes Lee
Konitz, Larry Goldings, Rich Perry, The Fugees and Aaron
Parks.
